Description: With approximately three decades of research in hand, it can no longer be disputed that Indigenous self-determination and self-government are the most effective policies when it comes to lifting Native peoples out of poverty and giving them real control over their culture, lives, and society. This course explores the key research that supports Indigenous governance principles and helps the student understand what these research results mean for individual communities.
